Supplier Code of Conduct

Longfor puts a high value on corporate social responsibility as a listed company. We hope to standardize our cooperation with suppliers in operational, social, and environmental aspects by implementing the Supplier Code of Conduct. When choosing suppliers, Longfor gives preference to suppliers who manage sustainable development policies conducive to society and the environment in their business, such as:

·Suppliers with the certification of ISO 14000 or other environmental management system are preferred;

·Suppliers with the certification of OASHS 18000 or other occupational health and safety management systems are preferred;

·Suppliers with the certification of SA 8000 or other social responsibility standards are preferred;

·Suppliers are requested to report on CDP (“Carbon Disclosure Project”) ;


Our suppliers shall comply with the following code of conduct:

Compliance with laws and regulations

·Suppliers must abide by all applicable laws and regulations when conducting business

Environment

·Suppliers should adopt appropriate systems to assess, measure, and reduce the impact of business operations on the environment

Child labor

·No employee under the minimum age for employment shall be hired

·The employee must be at least 16 years of age, except for those from the approved professional apprenticeship program

Forced labor

·Suppliers shall not allow any use of forced labor, threaten labor or bonded labor

Wages and hours of work

·Suppliers shall enter into employment contracts with all employees in accordance with local laws

·Suppliers shall comply with the local wage laws relating to applicable minimum legal wage and voluntary code    

·Overtime work shall be paid in accordance with the law and the hours shall be within the legal limit

Labor relations

·Suppliers shall have proper communication mechanism and complaint procedure to enable employees to express their demands and complaints to the management

Health and safety

·Suppliers shall develop health and safety policies and set out the operation process, so as to reduce the risk of injury or illness and protect the health of employees

·Suppliers shall provide employees with training on worker safety on the sites and codes of practice to ensure the safety of employees and their co-workers

Discrimination

·Whether to hire an employee is largely dependent on his/her qualification for the job

·Suppliers shall not discriminate against employees on the basis of sex, race, nationality, age, marital status, children, sexual orientation, religion, or disability

Suppliers and subcontractors

·Suppliers shall develop supplier codes of conduct that they agree about

·Suppliers should pay its suppliers and subcontractors on time

Bribery and corruption

·Suppliers shall formulate policies, codes of conduct, and operation procedures to prevent bribery, corruption, and fraud in any form and ensure their strict implementation

Audit and supervision

Suppliers shall provide documents to Longfor Group to evidence that they have complied with the code of conduct and even allow the Group to audit the facilities and construction sites.
